Who’s up for some decadent chocolatey goodness that is TOTALLY nourishing for your bod?!

Want to indulge in a creamy pudding type dessert but don’t eat dairy?!

Well Fear not my friends, I have a solution for this unthinkable problem.

I mean as if avocados needed any more of an ego boost, well here they go again stealing the limelight.

YES you guessed it the star ingredient is the not so humble avocado.

Everywhere I go I see avocado merchandise, from earings to necklaces, Tshirts, Mugs, Pyjamas, the list goes on!

But rightly so the avocado definitely deserves a few gold stars and here is WHY:

They Contain More Potassium Than Bananas.

Avocado is Loaded With Heart-Healthy Monounsaturated Fatty Acids.

Avocados Are Loaded With Fiber.

Eating Avocados Can Lower Cholesterol and Triglyceride Levels.

They contain a high amount of vitamin E which is a powerful antioxidant and brilliant for your skin.

In fact, according to new research from The American Heart Association, eating a single avocado a day, significantly decreases your cholesterol level and lowers your risk of heart disease. If you have or are at risk for heart disease or your doctor has concerns about a potential heart attack, you should seriously consider adding avocado to your daily routine, In this case, an avocado a day really does keep the doctor away!

The method behind the madness

Pudding:

1 1/2 ripe avocado

1/2 cup cacao powder

6 medjool dates

1 cup almond milk

2 tsp vanilla extract.

Blend together and set aside.

Crumble (optional):

1 cup walnuts

2 tsp vanilla bean

6 medjool dates

1/2 tsp cinnamon:

Mix together using a food processor until crumbly.

Scoop one cup of the pudding mixture into a bowl and garnish with a bit of the crumble.
